BANANA PUNCH 
5 c. water
3 c. sugar
1 c. fresh orange juice
1 c. fresh lemon juice
1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
5 bananas, mashed
2 qt. ginger ale

*When serving, mix in small amounts so that it will stay slushy.

Bring water and sugar to a boil in a large saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool completely. Stir together sugar mixture, orange juice, lemon juice, pineapple juice and bananas. Freeze 8 hours. Remove from freezer and let stand at room temperature 2 hours. Pour into a punch bowl and add ginger ale.

Makes 1 gallon.
