BEEF STEW 
2 to 2 1/2 lb. beef stew meat, cut up
1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
2 cans mushroom soup
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. cooking wine or sherry
1 can drained and rinsed mixed Chinese vegetables

Mix together and bake, covered, at 300 degrees for 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
