SHERRIED BEEF 
3 lbs. stewing beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 cans cream of mushroom soup (do not dilute)
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced thick
3/4 c. sherry
1/2 pkg. (1/4 c.) onion soup mix

Combine all in large casserole or roaster. Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours. Serve over rice, Chinese noodles or mashed potatoes. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
