SHERRY BEEF DINNER 
2 to 2 1/2 lb. lean stew beef, with fat removed
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
2 cans Golden mushroom soup
1/3 c. very dry sherry
1/2 tsp. powdered garlic
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

In a glass cooking dish, spread soup and sprinkle onion soup mix over meat. Add salt, pepper, garlic and sherry. Cover and cook at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until meat is tender, stirring occasionally. Serves 4-6.

Serve with noodles alfredo and an asparagus tip salad. Make individual salads by placing 6 pieces of chilled asparagus tips on a bed of lettuce. Sprinkle chopped pimento over tips, add favorite creamy dressing, and croutons, enjoy!
