1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 c. cracker meal (or crushed crackers) 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 med. onion, chopped 1/2 tsp. garlic salt (more if desired) Mix thoroughly; make balls and brown in hot fat. Put in baking dish and cover with sauce. SAUCE: 1 sm. can tomato paste 1 pt. tomato juice 2 bay leaves Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 to 55 minutes. |
