HAM AND BROCCOLI CHEESE STRATA 
12 slices day old bread
1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked
1 c. ham, cubed
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Trim crusts from 4 slices of bread and line bottom of 9 inch square baking dish. Top with grated cheese, cooked broccoli and cubed ham. Cut remaining 8 slices of bread with doughnut cutter. Arrange 2 rows atop the ham, overlapping the circles. Use the bread centers to fill in between the rows.

Beat the eggs. Blend in milk. Add mustard, onion, salt and pepper. Pour over ingredients in baking dish. Cover with plastic wrap or foil and let stand several hours in refrigerator. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes to firm before serving. Serves 6.
