SCALLOPED OYSTERS | |
4 c. crackers, coarsely crushed 1 (10 oz.) can med. sized oysters 2 c. milk 1 egg 1 tsp. salt Pepper to taste 1/3 c. butter 1. Line 1 1/2 quart casserole with half of the crackers. Place half of the oysters on crushed crackers. Layer remaining crackers on top of oysters followed by the rest of the oysters. 2. Beat egg and add milk, salt and pepper to it. 3. Just before baking pour mixture over oysters and crackers. Arrange butter in thin slices on top. 4. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. |
