GOULASH SUPPER | |
1 lb. stewing meat 1 lb. onions, chopped 2 tbsp. oil 2-3 tsp. sweet paprika 1/2 - 1 tsp. salt 1/2 - 1 c. red wine 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes 2 c. beef bouillon 3-4 potatoes, cut into sm. pieces 2-3 carrots, cut into sm. pieces Add salt, pepper, and more paprika to taste. Cut meat into small pieces. In a pan, heat oil. Add meat and onions; simmer 10-15 minutes. Add paprika and salt; simmer 2-3 minutes. Add wine, tomatoes, and bouillon. Cook for 1 hour. Add carrots and potatoes and cook until vegetables are done. Add salt, pepper, and paprika to taste. Serves 4-6. |
