LABSCAUS 
1 tbsp. butter
1 onion, minced
2 c. diced, cooked meat (leftovers or chopped meat browned)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (low sodium)
1 sm. can peas
1 sm. can sliced mushrooms (or fresh if desired)

In heavy fry pan (sprayed with Pam) in 1 tablespoon butter saute onion until translucent. Add - diced meat (or brown chopped meat, about 1 pound; 1 can low sodium mushroom soup, diluted with 1/2 can water or skim milk (can also use undiluted canned skim milk for creamier consistency); peas and mushrooms.

Cover - simmer 20 to 30 minutes over very low flame.

Serve over toast points; rice; fine egg noodles. Complete the meal with tossed salad, sliced angel food cake (from store) and thawed strawberries spooned over.
