POOR MAN'S DISH 
1 lb. ground beef, browned
1 onion
1 c. rice, washed
5 carrots
3 lg. potatoes, peeled & sliced
5 stems celery

Arrange in layers in casserole dish; cover with 1 quart tomatoes to which 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper were added. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
