WONDERFUL SWEET AND SOUR
MEATBALLS
 
1 lb. lean ground beef
3 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. oil
1 (8 oz) can pineapple chunks in juice, undrained
1 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 lg. green pepper, cut into strips
3/4 c. beef broth
1 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt

Combine beef, 3 tablespoons steak sauce, egg, bread crumbs, garlic and salt. Form into 24 meatballs. In large skillet, brown meatballs in oil. Add remaining ingredients except cornstarch and green peppers. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in 1 tablespoon water, stir into mixture, add green pepper. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Serves 6.
