FLUFFY ICING 
1 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1/2 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix cornstarch and milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Set aside to cool. (Lukewarm.) Cream together shortening, butter and sugar with electric mixer, beating a full 10 minutes.

Combine shortening mixture with milk mixture. Add salt and vanilla. Beat together with fast speed on mixer until creamy like whipped cream. Spread on cooled cake.
