FLUFFY ICING 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. white syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
Dash of salt

Cook everything except vanilla in top of a double boiler, beating until it holds a peak. Add the vanilla and beat well again.
