PEANUT BRITTLE CANDY | |
2 c. white sugar 1 c. white Karo syrup 1 tbsp. baking soda 4 c. peanuts or pecans 1/2 c. boiling water Combine sugar and syrup into a pot with the water boiling. Cook until 236 degrees. Add nuts, cook until 294 degrees. Remove. Add 1 tablespoon baking soda mix in, pour on cookie sheet. When cool break into pieces. |
