NEVER FAIL PEANUT BRITTLE CANDY 
Put in iron skillet 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup white corn syrup and 1/2 cup water. Boil until it spins a thread. Then add 2 cups raw peanuts, cook until the peanuts are roasted and the syrup turns yellow. Remove from heat and add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda. Stir well and pour into well greased cookie sheet. When cold break into pieces.
