MEAT LOAF | |
SAUCE: 1/2 c. catsup 1/3 c. brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. mustard 2 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg MEAT LOAF: 2 lbs. ground beef 2 eggs 1 c. corn flakes 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. minced parsley 1 onion, chopped Corn flakes are stirred into the ground beef with eggs, parsley, onion, salt, pepper and half the sauce. The sauce should be mixed and heated for a few minutes. The meat is shaped on a baking pan and baked for about 1 hour at 350 degrees. After the loaf has baked for 40 minutes, remaining sauce is spooned over the loaf. Baking continues. |
