GARLIC OKRA PICKLES 
3 lbs. fresh whole okra
3 c. water
1 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. pickling salt
2 cloves garlic, crushed

Wash okra well. Drain and pack into hot clean pint jars. In saucepan combine water, vinegar, salt and garlic. Bring to boil and pour into jars to within 1/2 inch of top. Adjust lids. Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes. Makes 4 pints.
