FRANCES STRANGE FUDGE 
2 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts (optional)

Sift sugar and cocoa together and mix thoroughly. Melt the butter and cheese together in the microwave (or on low heat on the stove top). Blend the butter and cheese into the sugar mixture completely. Mix in the vanilla and the nuts. Press into a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan and allow to stand until firm. Cut into squares. (This fudge freezes very well also.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
