WHOLE WHEAT BREAD 
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar or honey (molasses if making rye bread)
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. water
4 2/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 egg

Scald the milk, add butter, salt and sugar. Cool then add yeast and water. Then add flour and egg.

Let rise, form into loaf and let it rise. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow.
