SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. cultured sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together with sour cream mixture alternating with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour. Pour half the batter in a greased tube pan. Spread half of topping on. Repeat with batter. Add remaining topping and swirl through batter. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

NUT TOPPING:

1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped walnuts

Serves 6-8 people.
