2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Bake in tube pan 1 hour at 350 degrees.
