PARMESAN TOPPED GREEN BEANS | |
1 lb. green beans 1 c. water 1/2 env. onion soup mix 3 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. slivered almonds 3 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 tsp. paprika Wash beans, remove ends. Cut beans in 1" pieces. In medium saucepan, combine beans, water and onion soup mix. Bring to a boil. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until beans are tender. Drain beans, turn into a serving dish, stir in butter until melted. Combine toasted almonds, grated Parmesan cheese and paprika; sprinkle over the cooked green beans. Makes 6 to 8 servings. |
