QUICHE LORRAINE 
1/2 lb. chopped bacon or ham
1 minced sm. onion
8 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
4 eggs
1/2 pt. cream
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash red pepper
Dash white pepper
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Saute meat and onion. Layer cheese and meat-onion mixture in pastry lined pie pan. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour into crust. Garnish with slices of fresh mushrooms, if desired. Bake 35 minutes at 375 degrees or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes before serving.
