TEA ROLLS OR BUTTERED BISCUITS 
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. Crisco
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 egg
3 c. flour, divided
Melted butter

Scald milk and Crisco with sugar and salt; cool to warm. Add yeast. Beat egg and 1 1/2 cups flour with mixer until smooth; add remaining flour. Stir, let rise until double in size.

Roll out as for biscuits; cut with biscuit cutter. Dip in melted butter and place one on the other and fold over; pinch edge. Let rise on baking sheet 1 hour and bake at 400 degrees until brown.
