CINNAMON CRISPS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 egg

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Sift dry ingredients.

3. In large bowl cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and blend.

4. Add 1/2 flour mixture, alternate with evaporated milk. Add remaining flour. Blend well after each addition.

5. On greased cookie sheets, drop or teaspoon measure of mixture. Press down each cookie. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 10 minutes or until light brown. Makes about 3 dozen.
