DOWN HOME COUNTRY CORN BREAD 
2 c. white plain water-ground corn meal
About 2 3/4 c. boiling water
2 level tsp. salt
Liberal amount of cooking oil

Mix meal and salt together. Pour boiling water over the mixture until it is soft enough to spoon into a hot frying pan with a liberal amount of cooking oil. Be sure the water is boiling (it will cook the meal). Fry the corn bread until it is golden brown. Serve with fish or country flavored vegetables. You will think you've died and gone to heaven!
