2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. self-rising flour

Cream sugar and butter; add eggs, then vanilla and flour. Mix well. Sprinkle sugar on cut cookies and bake at 325°F until lightly brown.
