TENNESSEE SLAW SALAD 
1 head cabbage, cut coarsely
1/2 med. onion, diced fine
2 carrots, peeled and cut in very thin slices or shaved
1 stalk celery, diced
4 pieces bacon, cooked and cut into 1/2 inch pieces (optional)
2 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. mayonnaise
Poppy seeds

Mix cabbage, onion, carrots and celery together. Mix in mayonnaise. Add seasonings to taste and bacon. Top with poppy seeds. Refrigerate to let flavors blend.
