CHRISTMAS CREAM CHEESE COOKIES 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
festive colored sprinkles or icings, for decorating

Cream butter until fluffy. Gradually add sugar and cream cheese making sure mixture is smooth. Beat in egg yolk, vanilla and flour. Use a cookie press or chill until firm, roll and cut with decorative cutters. Decorate for the holiday. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes.

Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
