BANANA NUT CAKE 
Cream 1 1/2 c. sugar with 1/2 c. oil
3 mashed bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking soda in 4 tbsp. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Let cool. Ice with banana frosting.

ICING:

2 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. brown sugar

Cook until dissolved.

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. bananas, smashed
1/2 tsp. lemon juice
3-4 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
