SAUSAGE WILD RICE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. or 1 roll Jimmy Dean pork sausage - browned, drained
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 lg. chopped onion

Saute mushrooms and onion in 2 to 3 tablespoons butter.

Prepare by cooking until tender, 1/2 cup wild rice or use part regular rice with wild rice to equal 2 cups.

2 1/2 c. condensed chicken broth
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cream or milk

Thicken broth with mixture of flour and cream or milk.

Season with:

1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. marjoram

Combine all ingredients together in a casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour uncovered. Just before serving top with chow mein noodles (optional).

Serves 6 to 8 people.
