CHRISTMAS PUDDING 
1 c. molasses
1 c. raisins, chopped
1 c. milk
1 c. suet, chopped
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix the above. Steam 3 1/2 or 4 hours.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1 raw egg
Confectioner's sugar

Beat to the consistency that you like. We like it quite soft. This New England recipe is a tradition with our family.
