SWEDISH APPLE PIE 
Sliced apples, peeled to fill a 9 inch pie pan
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 unbroken egg
Pinch salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Butter a 9 inch pie pan. Fill 2/3 full with sliced apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Add 1 tablespoon sugar. Melt butter and mix with 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, egg, salt and nuts. Pour over apples and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
