SWEDISH APPLE PIE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. cinnamon & 1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
5 med. apples, peeled

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Slice apples into large deep dish pie plate; sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the apples. Next melt butter, add the sugar, egg and vanilla; mix well, then add the flour; mix well. Pour the mixture over the apples. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serves 6.
