HOT BEEF SANDWICHES | |
7 to 8 lb. rump or round roast 1 pkg. onion soup mix 5 beef bouillon cubes 1 c. water Salt & pepper to taste Brown roast well on top of stove. Sprinkle with onion soup mix. Dissolve bouillon cubes in water and add to roaster. Season as desired. Cover and roast 4 to 4 1/2 hours at 275 degrees. Cool somewhat and slice very thin. Return to juice. Store in refrigerator overnight. Bake 1 1/2 hours more at 275 degrees before serving. Serves 12 to 15. |
