SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE | |
1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. sour cream 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped pecans 1 tsp. cinnamon 4 tsp. sugar Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat very well. Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt, mix well. Combine and set aside pecans, cinnamon and sugar. Pour 1/2 of the batter into a well greased and floured Bundt or 9 inch tube pan or 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover with half the nut mixture, then spoon in remaining batter. Sprinkle top with remaining nut mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. |
