LOG CABIN PUDDING 
1 bag vanilla wafers
1 c. plain Log Cabin syrup
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. plain Jello (Knox)
1 pt. whipping cream
1 c. pecans, chopped

Grind or crush vanilla wafers. Pour about half into 9 x 13 inch pan. Scald the milk (hot but not boiling). Add the Knox gelatin in a little cold water, then combine with milk. Stir well. Remove from heat. Add syrup and stir. Add pecans fold in whipped cream and mix thoroughly, but gently. Then pour over wafers in pan. Put the other half of wafers on top. Refrigerate until chilled.
