ITALIAN BAKED ASPARAGUS 
2 tbsp. butter
1 can (15 oz.) extra long asparagus, drained
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 tbsp. finely chopped celery
1 med. tomato, sliced
1/8 tsp. oregano leaves
1/8 tsp. thyme leaves
Dash pepper
1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees. While oven is heating, melt butter in 10x6 inch (1 1/2 quart) baking dish in oven. Remove dish from oven. Place asparagus spears in bottom of dish. Sprinkle with onion and celery. Arrange tomato slices on top. Sprinkle with oregano and thyme leaves, pepper and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through.

Makes 4 servings.
