GUMDROP COFFEE BARS 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, 1 stick
1 egg
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. instant coffee
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. cut up gumdrops
1/2 c. nuts

Beat sugar and butter. Combine all ingredients stirring gumdrops and nuts in last. Spread in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve as bars with ice cream.
