CINNAMON COFFEE BARS 
1/4 c. soft shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c hot coffee
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Stir in coffee. Sift together dry ingredients and stir in. Blend in raisins. Spread in 9"x13" pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in 350 degree oven. Frost while still warm with thin powdered sugar frosting.
