POTATO SOUP 
5 lb. bag potatoes, cubed
1 lg. onion, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
4 carrots, slivered
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/2 stick butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix together in large pot. Cover with water, cook until vegetables are tender. Mix a thickening made with flour and milk together in jar with lid - mix well - with soup boiling add thickening, pouring it through a strainer and stirring soup constantly until desired thickness. Serve immediately. Shaved Cheddar cheese may be served on top. Enjoy!
