BATTER FRIED CHICKEN 
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
4 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup oil/grease, for frying

Combine flour, milk, egg, salt, sugar and baking powder. Mix thoroughly. Cut boneless chicken into 1/2-inch strips. Sprinkle with salt and dip into batter. Fry in deep, hot fat until done and golden brown.

Golden brown is NEVER a good determiner of doneness. Always check with a meat thermometer and be sure it reads at least 160°F.
