FRIED OYSTERS 
1 qt. large oysters, drained
1 c. fine dry bread crumbs, crocker meal, or cornmeal
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Use Crisco for deep-frying.

Drain oysters; coat them with bread crumbs. Dip each oyster in egg and milk mixture. Have another dish with bread crumbs. Salt, pepper, paprika coat them again. Place in deep fat.
