GOLDEN FRIED OYSTERS 
1 pt. fresh oysters
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. seasoned salt or table salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. fine cracker crumbs

Drain oysters. Combine egg, milk and seasoning. Dip oysters in egg mixture and roll them in cracker crumbs. Repeat process to form double breading.

Deep Fat Fried: Fry in oil, hot but not smoking (375 degrees), until golden brown. Total frying time 2 to 3 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper.

Pan Fried: Fry in 1/2 inch of oil, hot but not smoking, until bottom side is golden, then turn and fry other side until golden brown. Makes 4 servings.
