POOR MAN'S ROAST 
2 lbs. hamburger
5 med. potatoes, cut in med. sized chunks
1 lb. pkg. carrots, cut into med. sized strips
1 med. onion, sliced
1 egg
Pepper to taste
Seasoned salt to taste
4 - 5 c. water
Flour
Oil

Put small amount of oil in electric skillet at 400 degrees. In mixing bowl, combine hamburger meat, egg and seasonings. Shape into loaf shape. Flour on both sides. Place in skillet. Brown on both sides. Drain. Place carrots and potatoes around meat. Pour water into skillet. Place onion slices on top. Season to taste. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook for about 45 minutes. When carrots are done, it's ready to serve.
