CLOUD BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
1 beaten egg
2/3 c. milk

Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine egg and milk; add to flour mixture all at once. Stir until dough follows fork around bowl. Turn on floured board. Knead 20 times. Roll 3/4 inch thick. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 14 minutes or until done.
