SCALLOPED EGGS 
1 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
1 1/2 dozen hard cooked eggs, sliced
White sauce (below)
1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
1 clove garlic or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 c. chopped celery

Stir cheese and spices into white sauce until cheese is melted. Alternate layers of sauce, bacon and eggs in oblong baking dish. Top with 1/3 package buttered Pepperidge Farm stuffing. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. If made ahead, do not add stuffing until cooking time.
