1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt

Mix all dry ingredients. Add milk and shortening. Bring to a hard boil. Boil 1 minute, then set aside to cool. Add vanilla and beat until smooth.
