CHOCOLATE CAKE AND ICING 
CAKE:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. hot water
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put all ingredients into bowl; mix well. Pour batter into greased and floured pan. Bake approximately 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool before icing.

ICING:

1 lb. powdered sugar
1 stick melted butter
1-2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. cocoa
Milk to make spreadable

Mix all ingredients together. Frost cool cake.
