1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
3/8 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
2 tsp. vanilla
Bananas
Vanilla wafers

Blend sugar, flour and salt thoroughly. Mix egg yolks in center then add milk slowly stirring all the time. Cook on high heat, stirring until thick. Take off heat. Add vanilla. Put in casserole dish layers of cookies, bananas then pudding. Top with meringue.

MERINGUE:

1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
Egg whites

Beat egg whites until frothy. Add cream of tartar. Then add sugar a little at a time. Add vanilla last.
